Missions We Support

As a fellowship we believe in fulfilling the Great Commission (Matt 28:16-20) both locally and further afield. Acts 1:8, that we are to be witnesses, “in Jerusalem (locally), and in all Judea and Samaria (nationally and regionally) and to the end of the earth (internationally),” is a helpful pattern we seek to establish our mission support around. While there are many worthy causes we could support we specifically support the following ministry initiatives by prayer and through financial support:

Internationally:

Eunice Burden

burden

We partner with Overseas Missionary Fellowship to support Eunice Burden in Central Thailand.

Eunice has been connected with Cromhall for many years. She works with OMF (Overseas Missionary Fellowship). Eunice has been living and working in Bangkok, Thailand for many years now, in a variety of roles, but all involved in teaching, training and facilitating courses for missionaries and Thais. Eunice sometimes helps in the language school, where missionaries spend a year receiving a good grounding in the language and customs of Thailand. Eunice’s vision is to establish a leadership development programme for the Thai Church.

Paul and Kim Hutchison

Paul and Kim

We partner with WEC to support Paul and Kim Hutchison who have now returned from MTI in South Korea.

Paul and Kim are originally from Yorkshire and have four grown-up children and two grandchildren.  They have served with WEC International in Korea for the last nearly nine years, where they were preparing Korean missionaries, at the Missionary Training Institute, for work around the world.  They recently returned to the UK where they are now Membership Department Coordinators for WEC UK, based in Coventry.  Their role includes recruiting and training both long and short-term missionaries for WEC.

Nationally and Regionally:

Steve Loader

554816

We partner with Steve Loader who is a chaplain through Counties Evangelists working at the Avonmouth and Portbury Docks.

Steve, a builder by trade, was brought up on a tough Bristol estate in a church founded by his own father – and through the Holy Spirit’s leading has become a chaplain to seafarers at Portbury and Avonmouth Docks in Bristol.

Locally:

400-thornburyfoodbank

We support the Yate & Chipping Sodbury Food Bank Thornbury Centre, which is our local food bank to help those in need. The chapel contributes to this through regular collections of food and money.

On a semi-regular or annual basis we have also supported the Gideons, Tear Fund, Barnabas, London City Mission, TEN, and various other visiting ministries.
